Why, if he was all the negative impact on our society that Tupac (Tupac), a lot of people compliment?

Main issue by Magikrap: Why is Tupac praised by so many people if all he did was negatively influence our society?

I don’t think he has any rap “work” that did not mention sex, violence, drugs and alcohol. His “work” requires little comprehension to understand and is poisonous to the ignorant.

PS: I don’t think “music” or “message” defines the destructive abomination of his work.

This is everything about Why is Tupac praised by so many people if all he did was negatively influence our society? that you’ll choose to fix conditions without some help. With some luck , this’ll help in several ways, and will make the way you live significantly better. Thinking everything about Why is Tupac praised by so many people if all he did was negatively influence our society? will be a remedy tomorrow.

His underlying messages were to not be a thug and stay in school

Take a listen to this:

I’d like to hear your reasoning to how he was an “abomination.” And he mentioned those things quite often because that’s what he experienced in his life. He saw sex, violence, drugs, and alcohol everyday of his life. He was raised in a pretty crappy neighborhood, after all. Was he supposed to pretend it wasn’t a part of his life? Clean it up just to please people who DIDN’T experience those things? Rap about rainbows, butterflies, sunshine, and lollipops?? Give me a break.

Probably because he was the realest rapper out there. When you see other music artists on tv, they always act like someone they’re most likely not.. but cameras and microphones never stopped Tupac from speaking the truth. He stayed true to his gang life even though he was making millions and I guess thats what caught people’s attention.

Not to mention he was great rapper and had so many hits.

Answer by LOL

I don’t he is “praised” I think he left this earth before he reached his full potential. He was young when he passed so in many ways he was immature. By him going to an performing art school and his mother being apart of the black panthers he was exposed to a lot of knowledge.

He was an artist so he made music to fulfill everyone’s needs. He entertained the one’s who like sex and partying but he also talked about teen pregnancy with songs like Brenda’s got a baby and Keep Your Head Up about single mothers and men not taking care of their responsibilities.

Lol @ obstructive abomination if that’s the case put half of the rappers in that category they all talk about sex and drugs

who have u been listening 2 cuz its obviously not Pac… listen to Dear Mama, Keep Ya Head Up, Life Goes On, I Ain’t Mad At Cha,Changes, etc. & in Me Against The World he says “they punish tha people that’s askin questions

and those that possess

steal from tha ones without possesions

tha message I stress

to make it stop

study your lessons

don’t settle for less

even tha genius asks questions

be gratifull for blessins

don’t ever change

keep your essense

tha powers in tha people and tha politics we address

always do your best

don’t let this pressure make ya panic

and when ya get stranded

and things don’t go tha way ya planed it

dreaming of richs

in a position of makin’ a difference

polititions and hipocrites

they don’t wanna listen” & at the end hes says “i kno it seems hard at times, but thru every dark night, there’s a bright day after that. so no matter how hard it gets, stick ya chest out, keep ya head up, & handle it”

he was a fucken genius & the only times his raps were violent was when he was depicting how his life was growing up or dissing Biggie

Answer by deondreg

because he was representing thug society. A thug is more then a gun and trouble, he put practically in a perspective that thugs can be people too. Not only thugs but black people period, for instants “Brenda got a baby” pretty telling a story about young black girl in the ghetto were she had nowhere to turn or dear mama when he described his mothers struggle and strides as a mother i mean thats everyday hood shit. Reason why they look at him negative is because his whole life he was considered this outkast, and how white folks kept putting him in bad guy category, its fucked up, if people knew who he was and what he was about then there wouldnt be negative shit towards him

Tupac had numerous raps that didnt mention sex violence drugs and alcohol but he always had a message in his music and many of his songs that involved sex/violence/drugs/alcohol warned against the repurcussions of it (such as Brenda’s got a Baby) Keep your head up is about women not giving in 2 men. Dear mama is thanking his mom. His message has always been good. And virtually all music contains references to sex or drugs or alcohol and violence; virtually all great rockers where drug addicts whereas tupac only smoked weed which isnt a real drug anyway. Tupac’s message is good and he has a positive impact because he drew attention to problems such as racism, molestion, murder, crime, etc.

“I don’t think he has any rap “work” that did not mention sex, violence, drugs and alcohol.”

1-does mentioning something necessarily equate endorsing it?

He has positive songs as well, that might “mention” such things, but that doesn’t mean he is saying, “yeah momma, you should have kept on smoking crack.”

Tupac is the only artist that has been studied in college courses all over the country for YEARS. You take a modern music class, and although some particulars might change as far as hip hop goes, Tupac is always read about and discussed.

Answer by Unspoken Respect

The majority of Pacs music was deep and truthful. If his music effected someone like that then they are week minded and shouldnt listen to music. Everyone loves blaming rap for societies problems.
