I have many theme songs and all of them have the prefix “WWE – ”
So for example one theme song would be named “WWE – Stone Cold 1st.mp3″ Is there anyway/method of being able to remove the WWE – prefix from many files at one time?

You can use a bulk renaming application — my favourite is ReNamer by Den4B:

how to use it:
To delete WWE – from the file name for example, you will need to delete 5 characters from the start of the filename to get “Stone Cold.mp3″ from the original “WWE – Stone cold.mp3
Insert a rule (click the + ) and use Delete rule.
From Position 1
Until Count 5
Hit the preview button to see what it looks like, then hit Rename to confirm.

There is no shortcut. The renaming has to be done individually.
Of course it is technologically possible to provide the type of shortcut you need but Microsoft feel this would lead to too many “accidents” (people renaming things “by accident” that they don’t actually want to rename.
If you hang around on Yahoo! Answers, you will see plenty of “accidentally” questions. The one that makes me laugh is “I accidentally deleted my Recycle Bin”
