The synchronization problem Barbiegirl MP3 player?

Issue written by TishyBaby: Trouble with syncing a Barbiegirl MP3 player?

I can’t get my Windows Media Player 11 to recognize that the BarbieGirl MP3 player is connected so I can sync some music – even though when I first plug in the device a message appears at the bottom of the screen (in WMP 11) that it recognizes “BarbieGirl MP3″ has been plugged in. Any ideas what could be wrong?

It shows under “My Computer” but will not open – maybe because I haven’t been able to put anything on it yet! WMP does give the message about “BarbieGirl MP3″ showing it is connected after you plug it in, but doesn’t seem to recognize it after that. The “Manual” is a joke & so far I haven’t found anything else online. Any other ideas?
