Sansas are good but getting music on them can be tricky. They are cheap too and have a very good fm radio.

I’d recommend the Zune as well. It has a decent price for the capacities it comes in and it has some nice features. Also, MS is good about releasing updates to older models so it will always be up to date with the latest generation.
